What's the deal with Shipping?
Spend $150+ and shipping's on us. No code, no fine print — it just disappears at checkout.
Everything's printed to order — no warehouse full of unsold stock gathering dust, no landfill later. That's the tradeoff: up to 7 days before your order leaves the building, then 5–30 days in transit depending on where you are. Wide window, we know. Blame geography, not us.
Under $150, shipping cost depends on what's in your cart, because a sticker and a hoodie do not weigh the same and we're not going to pretend otherwise:
Tee (unisex or fitted): $12 first item, $1.90 each extra
Hoodie / Jumper: $18 first item, $3.10 each extra
Tote / Hats / Bags: $12 first item, $1.90 each extra
Mug: $13 first item, $5.00 each extra
Stickers: $10 first item, $0.10 each extra
Mixing categories? Each gets its own line — a tee + a mug ships as two separate things, because that's what's actually happening.

Why are all the shirts black?
Partly because we're based in Melbourne, where wearing any other colour is technically illegal.
The real answer: black gives every design maximum contrast and impact regardless of the colour palette. Hot pink puffy letters, teal calligraphy, tattoo flash — they all pop on black in a way they wouldn't on white or grey.
That said, special colour editions are coming. Watch this space.
Where are the products made and are the blanks actually ethical?
Everything is printed in Australia through Printful's Brisbane facility. The blanks are a different story depending on the product — most of our tees, hoodies and jumpers are Stanley/Stella, which are organic cotton, Fair Wear Foundation certified, carbon neutral, and go up to 5XL. The cropped hoodie is Bella+Canvas — B Corp certified and Fair Trade manufactured. The tote is Econscious — 100% organic cotton, SEDEX SMETA audited factory, and a member of 1% For The Planet.
We chose blanks where the ethics are load-bearing, not just a marketing line. That means higher blank costs and tighter margins. We're fine with that.
What sizes do you stock?
Most styles go from S to 5XL. The women's fitted tee and cropped hoodie have a smaller size range — check the individual product pages for specifics. Every product page has a size guide.
How does the WIRE donation work?
10% of every sale goes to WIRE — the Women's Information and Referral Exchange. They provide free information, support and referrals to women, non-binary and gender diverse people across Victoria on housing, financial literacy, family violence, legal advice and employment. They're Melbourne-based, intersectional, and small enough that donations are genuinely meaningful.
I ordered the wrong size. Can I exchange it?
Everything is printed to order specifically for you, which means we can't accept returns or exchanges for size changes. Please check the size guide carefully before ordering — it's on every product page.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
That one's on us. Email janelle@unladylikeau.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and we'll get it sorted — reprint or refund, your choice.
